Tiki Rolls On

Tiki Barber may be retired, but he seems to be getting a lot more airtime than he did as the Giants running back. After firing shots against his quarterback, Eli Manning, and questioning his leadership abilities, Tiki turned his assault on his former coach Tom Coughlin. All of this is presumably to stir up controversy and some free press for his new book that should be coming out, and who are we to turn down some free controversy. Tiki says that Coughlin robbed him of his love for the game and took away what was dear to him. The way I see it, this is a double edged sword. Without Coughlin, who cured Tiki of his fumbleitis, Barber would have been out of the league years ago. Barber says so much in that Coughlin was solely responsible for helping him with his fumbling woes, but then his dictatorial style just became too much to handle. I say keep ’em coming Tiki, I’m sure you can dig up some dirt on Michael Strahan, how about Amani Toomer? I’m aniticipating the next episode of “Who Will Tiki Bash”.
