Bitch of the Week: The Juice

I’m sick of seeing this guy’s mug. We loved you at SC. We even loved you in the pros. We stopped loving you after the murder thingy and now the heist. Go away Juice, you’re past your expiration date.

DAME: a matronly woman of advanced age

That’s exactly what the Irish played like this past weekend. For the 3rd consecutive game, the offense pitched a shutout, not scoring a td that is. How bad is this team, well we even caught qb Jimmy Clausen calling for help during the game. Looks like the reinforcements didn’t get there in time. If I were these players, I’d transfer to another program, say…Northern Illinois; too late.

Tiger Wins Again, Ho Hum…

This is bad news for all the golfers in the world when Tiger Woods wins The FedEx Cup, and he didn’t even care about the tournament. We all know that The FedEx Cup isn’t a major, and Tiger and Phil Mickleson didn’t really want to play. At the end of the day however, Tiger’s pride and his bank account got the best of him. Because he wasn’t going to play in a tournament and not dominate, and he is $10 million dollars richer for it. How close was the competition you ask? Let’s just say Tiger could have stayed at home on Sunday and watched some football and still won the tournament. Looking back, it was everyone else that should have stayed at home. The world’s greatest golfer, and the dare I say, the greatest golfer of all time, proved just how much better than everyone else he is.

A Broom Of Brotherly Love

The NFL got most of the press on Sunday, but if you look a bit closer you’ll see a nice little baseball penant race going on. The Philadelphia Phillies just swept the division leading New York Mets again, for the third time this season. The win pulled the Phillies within 3 1/2 games of the struggling Mets. Can you say ownage? The Phils just seem to have the Mets number and it’s on speed dial at the moment. This is a bad time for the boys from Queens to go into a September slump. If you ask me the Mets have been doing it with smoke and mirrors the whole season anyway, beating up on a weak National League. Let’s hope we have a nice race down to the wire.

MAN-CRUSH OF THE WEEK: RANDY MOSS

After being exiled from the league for two years with the Oakland Raiders, this guy is back and (not to sound to cliche’ like) badder than ever. He stepped up Sunday night against what most considered the leagues top defense with 2 tds and 105 yds. Comeback player of the year, sure if you want to insult him. Try league MVP (right now at least). We salute you too Randy Moss. As long as you don’t get those alligator arms back and keep hauling in the big yardage and tds.

Brady Bunch Moves to Prime Time

A week after the Belichik video-taping controversy, the Pats showed why they are still the favorites to represent the AFC in the Superbowl. Led by Randy Moss‘ 2tds and 105 yds, the Pats routed the preseason favorite Chargers. For the 2nd straight week, O.G. man-crush of the week L.T. came up short with a measly 43 rushing yds. Moss, who most sportswriters considered washed-up, showed why he is still the most dominant wr in the game. With a 38-14 win over the superchargers, the Pats are now 2-0 heading into what some would call a bye-week against the Bills. Its a good thing Moss was available in the 5th round of my fantasy league. I love this guy, a true gamer and a future hall of famer (take notes Chad Johnson). With Moss, Maroney, the Pats D, and 0h yeah, that Brady guy, the league has officially been given notice that the Pats are for real.
