Illini Run Out of Juice
Sure the game was close in the 3rd quarter (21-10), but then the Trojans mystique took over. Four unanswered touchdowns by USC, and before you know it, it’s game over, 49-17. The Trojans romped the Illini. The SC defense proved to be too much for Illinois quarterback Juice Williams, who threw 2 pics, no touchdowns. His counterpart, John David Booty, had no problem, throwing 3 touchdowns (1 int) and 255 yds. Freshman runningback Joe McKnight also gave the Trojans fans a little preview of what to expect next year, as he racked up 170 total offensive yards. Same old Rose Bowl, same old Trojans. It’s just too bad we won’t be seeing them until next fall again. Fight on Trojans, Fight on!!!

Joe McKnight had a wonderful game, he managed to help his team and contributes 206 all-purpose yards. He is really amazing and outstanding considering that he is just a freshman.
