Bobby Petrino Leaves the Nest

Just another day at the office for the Atlanta Falcons, as their head coach Bobby Petrino went from losing on Monday Night to accepting a job with the Arkansas Razorbacks within 24 hours. Did he abandon his team? Sure he did.  But wouldn’t you do the same?  The Falcons are in a horrible state.  They have no quarterback, no wide receivers, no established running game and their defense is getting lit up.  Now the Razorbacks’ job isn’t the greatest out their (I would rather go to Michigan), but at least they are storied and have the potential to make some noise in the SEC. Cornerback DeAngelo Hall came out and said that he does not respect Petrino for abandoning them.  You know what De, get over it.  When will athletes, fans, coaches and whoever else realize that this is a sports.  It’s not like the good old days when teams were one with their cities.  The guy got a better offer with a better program. Plus, he doesn’t have to be political with overpaid babies like Hall. I think Falcons owner Arthur Blank better start slapping his team around before they become the new Cincinattie Bungels.  Until then, WOOOOOOOO PIG SOOIE! WOOOOOOOO PIG SOOIE! WOOOOOOOO PIG SOOIE!
