The TRUTH about Sports

Folks, Tony Romo Has Arrived – T.O. too…

tony romo onthebuzzer.comterrell owens onthebuzzer.comThe Dallas Cowboys were down big to the Detroit Lions 27-14 heading into the 4th quarter.  Terrell Owens hadn’t done shit and I was waiting for the blowup.  But it never came. Quarterback Tony Romo led his team on a final drive that started on their own 17 and ended with a touchdown pass with :18 seconds left in the game to tight end Jason Witten. 15 receptions for Jason Witten, not bad for a tight end.  2 touchdown drives in the 4th quarter plus a little luck with a missed field goal by one of the best in Detroit’s Jason Hanson, and boom, you got a 28-27 victory. The best part of it all, T.O.’s attitude.  This season’s been different, with “I” players becoming “team” players (Owens, Moss, etc.) It’s no wonder that their respective teams are the best in their conferences.  Great game, a Cowboys v. Patriots Superbowl will be one of the best of all time.  You heard it here first!!!

  1. I just don’t know if the Dallas Cowboys will ever get anywhere with a QB who can’t win the big games. Tony Romo performs well for the most part, but when the season is on the line he hasn’t been impressive. I’m not sure how much patience Jerry Jones and the Cowboys will have with him…but my fingers are crossed!
