Heisman Finalists Announced
Here they are folks, the fab four, the finalists for NCAA’s Heisman Trophy: Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan, Arkansas runningback Darren McFadden, Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, and Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel. I don’t think Chase Daniel has a chance to win it. Hawaii’s quarteback Colt Brennan, while probably the most talented quarterback in the group, played in a week conference so he’s probably out too. My problem with Darren McFadden is that he seemed to disappear in the middle of the season. He had 3 games where he was held to under 100 rushing yards. The preseason favorite jumped back into the scene after leading his team to a huge 3OT victory over LSU. Tim Tebow, Mr. Sophmore, Mr. 51 Total Tds, can be the first in his class to get the Heisman. He probably has the best chance, given the fact that he wasn’t even the starting quarterback on his team last year. I’d like to see Colt win it, to be honest with you. I don’t mind Tebow either. The Heisman is all about individual performance, and not how your team does. None of these guys picked their schedule, it was given to them. And now, the Heisman goes to…
Colt Brennan – 131 touchdown passes, 23 NCAA records, only undefeated team in America. Who else can say that? How can Colt Brennan not win the Heisman? If you are skeptical, I challenge you to watch last week’s Hawaii Vs Washington. Colt is incredible. You might become a believer.
Darren Mcfadden is the best player in the country. We can all agree on that. The trophy goes to the most outstanding player in college footabll, which is Darren Mcfadden. His burst is unseen in football before. He also can run over anyone, Including the best interior lineman in the country Glenn Dorsey, who he ran right over top of for over 200 yards against the best team in country. Tebows supposed Heisman moment was against Florida state who sucks this year. D-mac also went over 300 yards againsta team who was once ranked 6th in the country. He also nearly single handedly brought back his team from a 21 point deficit in the second half, and should’ve if it wasn’t for arkansas defense. He is crazy. Tebow’s a great player but who did the coaches of the sec vote offensive player of the year? Darren Mcfadden. It will be a dissapointment if Tebow wins because Mcfadden has those heisman moments in the biggest games against the best teams. Run DMC
