Boston College Breaks the Curse
The curse of the fallen #2s has been broken folks. The Boston College Eagles went into Blacksburg, VA as
underdogs against the #8 ranked Hokies, went down 10-0 at the half, down 10-0 going into the 4th quarter, then struck twice in the final 2:11 minutes and left with a 14-10 lead and the #2 ranking still in tact. If anyone had any doubt about Boston College’s street cred or even Matt Ryan’s heisman candidacy, rest assure, they AND he are legit. Florida St., Maryland, Clemson, Miami and the only opponents remaining on the Eagles’ schedule. As long as the Eagles don’t let up, a national title birth is guaranteed. Heck, they may even end up #1 if Ohio St. loses to Penn St. or Michigan. Until then, kudos to the Eagles for defying the odds and shutting up the critics…
