Steven Jackson: “I’m back. Start me this Sunday.”
It’s about freakin’ time. The Rams are looking at an 0-7 season, thanks to Steven Jackson, and need their franchise running back more than ever. Not only that, but my fantasy team took its 1st loss of the season last week and I need to bounce back. In his own ESPN column on Wednesday, Jax stated “I’m feeling great, and as long as there are no setbacks this week, I’m going to be on the field against the Browns.” Well, maybe if you weren’t busy writing columns and doing commercials, you could get in a couple of extra reps on the practice field or a few extra massages from the trainer. These aren’t the same Browns from a year ago buddy. They’re 3-3 and 1 game out of first in their division. They got QB Derek Anderson and a prolific passing game with Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow. So we and the Rams need your ass out there to control the clock and hurt these Browns. Jax finished off his column with a “Best of luck to all of you and your fantasy teams, and I hope you all reap the fruits of my return to the field.” That’s great buddy, but we don’t need luck, we need 100 yds and 1td, Mr. I’m guaranteed 2,500 yds from scrimmage this season!!! LETS GO BABY!!!
I don’t know that you can thank Steven Jackson for the 0-7 start. They just plain suck this year and did before he went out. I’m happy to see him back because I have him in a couple Dynasty leagues that are taking a hit. Now I may just be frustrated because he is playing on my roster and not scoring rather than him having a red mark next to his name.
Fuck him, WE WANT MORE BRIAN LEONARD (said the guy with the 2-5 fantasy record)!!!
OK guys, post season is over, it’s time to remember your wife or girlfriend. Maybe you better make up for ignoring her for most of January. How about a Valentines gift from 1-800-Flowers.com (http://www.1800flowers.com)
