Forgive Me Father, For I Have Sinned
Kansas City Chiefs running back Priest Holmes is on the verge of completing his 2 year comeback journey. After suffering a serious neck an spine injury 2 years, ago, Priest hopes to play this weekend at Oakland. A lot of people don’t remember but Priest was an unstoppable force back in
the day. He scored 48 rushing tds in a 2-year span (including a records setting 27 before L.T. beat it in ‘05). Priest was the undisputed #1 fantasy football pick for a few years before going down. Unfortunately for Priest, he is now roadblocked by Mr. Holdout himself, Larry Johnson. While Johnson is a stellar RB, the persona of both couldn’t be further apart. Priest has a team first, win mentality while L.J. is your typical modern day athlete, all I care is about gettin’ mine. Power to you Priest, there’s nothing more us Chief fans wouldn’t like but for you to get our starting spot back.
Glad to see him back. He was one of my favorite players ever.
