A Tale of Two…

elimanning.jpgGiants vs Falcons. Eli Manning vs Joey Harrington. Two teams, two quarterbacks, two very different directions. Monday night football summed everything up, with the New York Giants pounding the hapless Atlanta Falcons 31-10, for their fourth consecutive victory. Manning, although throwing two interceptions, was 27-of-39 for 303 yards, his most since a 312-yard performance against the Cowboys in Week 1. Amani Toomer became the Giants all-time leading receiver and Plaxico Burress had another TD catch giving him 8 for the year, tying him with Randy falconslogo.jpgMoss for the league lead. Harrington on the other hand was 18-of-39 for 209 yards. He lost 28 yards on sacks and the Falcons managed only 159 yards and nine first downs over the final three quarters, most of them coming after the Giants already had put the game away. In fairness to Jospehine, he was pressured all game and hit the turf a number of times… not a good time to be a Falcons fan.
